After a few years of teaching at the music academy and after many workshops, Toon Van Mierlo felt a growing need to develop something new for advanced players, although there are also many relevant things for beginners. To prevent this booklet from becoming boring, it is filled with various stories from his life as a musician.

The course is intended for bagpipes in G (sol) with a semi-closed fingering system. In this booklet, he shares his personal vision of playing the bagpipes. He is self-taught and his ambition was certainly not to write a comprehensive course on the bagpipes.
